Terracotta

Terracotta is a porous, but very strong ceramic.
Early terracottas date from the Paleolithic era. Terracotta has been used to make statues such as the armed terracotta First Emperor Xian in China.
In Siena ( Italy), we find the workshop of the artist Piero Sbarluzzi whose terracotta works are know in the world.
An advanced workshop will be possible for a small group in Tuscany.
